Darvocet is an opiate, but not the best pain killer. Tramadol is considered an “atypical” opiate, also a pain killer.

Addiction to both is possible, depends on how much was taken and for how long.

Withdrawal from opiates can be a painful, miserable experience and should be done under medical supervision.

If you have a biological relative who has been addicted, that means your own risk for addiction might be higher than average. Be careful.
