Anyone Know of Good & Effective Dual Diagnosis Rehab Centers?

Question by Anthony B: Anyone know of good & effective dual diagnosis rehab centers?
I’ve decided to get myself some help and need advice on treatment centers. I need a place that specializes in mental-illness(more specifically, bipolar) along with drug and alcohol addiction. I haven’t the slightest clue how to locate a quality program and need some help. If anyone knows of any or has gone through a similar situation, please share.

I am wondering for my sister. She is 25 and barely has a job and doesn’t have health insurance. I think she has a serious drug problem. She knows she needs to go back to treatment but she’s so concerned about how to pay for it. Is there a way to check yourself in without paying a ton of money?

What Does It Mean When CPS Does a Home Visit 2 Times in One Case?

Question by RachieRoo: What does it mean when CPS does a home visit 2 times in one case?
What does it mean when CPS does a home visit 2 times in one case?

Okay so far we’ve had a school visit with me, a counselor, and a case worker, then we had a house visit in the middle of a Sunday night and now they came but we weren’t home. My dad got a call saying they’d be back. When they came earlier they left a notice saying “the child” (me) can be taken at any time by CPS without a court order or parental consent. What does all this mean? We have also had a previous case before with them. My mom has a history of drug abuse and recently called a hotline in a prescription drug abuse rampage. Please help me. Am I being taken?

Best answer:

Answer by Jay
P(X = 12) = (30 choose 12)(0.45)^12(0.55)^18

You have to multiply this all together. The 0.45^12 is the amount that you need that will be clean, exactly 12, at the given percent.

Can You Become a Pharmacy Technician With a History of Substance Abuse?

Question by Jay: Can you become a pharmacy technician with a history of substance abuse?
Hi I admitted myself to inpatient rehab for opiate substance abuse 3 times in the last 2 years. From what I understand that information is confidential. I no longer use illicit substances. Can I become a certified pharmacy tech? I live in OK, USA.

On the pharmacy tech application, they ask if you habitually use alcohol, illegal or habit-forming drugs. Sounds like they ask if you currently use drugs. They ask you to complete an addendum with info about the situation. Do you think that you can handle working in this type of environment with your past history? I wouldn’t want to be tempted and just one slip up can be very bad.

Get yourself to a hospital!!! NOW! The average dose is 40mg and the high dosage is 60mg. You just took 7 times the normal dose of a stimulant. The pain in your chest is called tachycardia. You are probably breathing fast. Seriously… go the ER.
