12step rehabs have a slightly higher success rate than “free” AA, and they have about a 5% success rate at the end of one year, the same as quitting on your own.

if someone had a coke problem then went to rehab for a year, then left and was clean for a year and half until a slip where he did cocaine one night and got rlly high, would he have to go back to rehab? or is it realistic that after he slipped he realized how screwed up his life was and he didnt touch coke again.
basically if someone slipped would they have to go back to rehab or is it possible that they just never touch cocaine again after that?

I grew up in a gang. As a Black P. Stone from Chicago. we did all kinds of stuff from drug abuse and sales to guarding our blocks against rival gangs. we wore our flags. and shook up when we greated each other. everybody has a need to belong. gangs offer that bond if you will.

My fiancee just went into rehab today. I feel extremelly weak and lost right now. Of course me and his family are giving him all the support needed, and he wishes to get well, but I am going thru a very tough time at the moment, and I’d like to know if there are meetings for people going thru the same thing as me, in the NY area. yes there are look in the phone book for narcotics anonymous. Call them, they’ll be able to find a support group to help you.
