Is There Some Program to Resettle Housing Project Residents Into Smaller Towns in the Midwest?
Question by Gavin Cato: Is there some program to resettle housing project residents into smaller towns in the Midwest?
I’ve heard this to be the case. Apparently residents from the major public housing projects in cities like Chicago are being resettled into smaller towns in Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin. Residents of these towns report that poor newcomers have arrived from the big cities and have brought much criminal behavior with them. Does anyone have any documentation on this?
