My sister is 17 and has been in a court ordered drug rehab facility for the past 8 months.
She now gets 12 hours visits away from the facility, and on those visits my mother likes to have her go tanning, to the mall, get nails done, etc. I think that time should be spent going to colleges, the library … something like that so that when she is out she can do something with her life. My mom says this is her “reward” time and has elaborate plans for fun stuff.

This is Texas and I was given a form to sign when arrived relieving them of responsiblities if injured. But I was on drugs when I signed it. Now clean. The stairs were waxed in the a.m. and there were no caution signs anywhere. I slipped and went down hard and reinjured a previous shoulder injury on the 2 X 4 being used for the hand rail. I didn’t report it until the next day, hoping that it wasn’t as serious as it turned out. I requested for 4 days to seek medical attention when they finally took me to a local urgent care facility. After seeing a physician and getting an ant-inflamatory prescription I was expected to pay for the treatment and prescription. I had no money, which they were very aware of , and no insurance. What rights do I have in this situation and is there someplace I can go to find my rights while in a rehab center.

There are several good places in both states and several organizations that can help you. It is hard not know what your problem/addiction is to recommend a place. Each place may specialize in different areas. Some places to all kinds of rehab however they are usually really good or recommend for one thing. You need to find a place that specializes in your problem/addiction. Here are some places and also websites that tell about the organizations to help you and what each rehab specializes in. Also there are places that are all male or female if you prefer that. It also depends if you are looking for a day program, inpatient or outpatient program. The websites below can help you find places that will meet your needs.

I’ve been sober from cocaine and dope for about a week now because I keep relapsing…I’ve been sober in alcoholics anonymous for a year and a half about two years ago, but this time around I can’t seam to do it…I’ve been going to meetings but they all suck around here and I dont favor the people, I have no network of young people to help me out or any way to go to meetings out of town…I’m really hating myself because I can’t seam to get any significant help

i went to jail for poss. of meth spent 6 months i was released on jan.4 went to work on jan. 5 . i am on probation for 15 more days of a years probation. i got permission to leave washington state to go to alabama mom was sick. i stayed 3 days to many and was arrested for escape two officer flew from wa. to florida rented a car drove to alabama picked me up at jail and took me to florida all three of us flew on public airline to seattle wa.was not trying to run . now i have only 15 days left on probation. for 8 months of probation i had a po that was no problem for the last 2 months they gave me new po she has been very verbly abusive saying im a peice of **** that one month can turn into13 fast i have my wife and a freind on different occasions heard her and 2 other pos . i have passed all ua in the past .my wife left me for a guy i know when i was in jail and my brother watched our three kids .have been working got my wife and kids back .gotbad ua weed. and missed app. with po. now have warrent

Central Hills, La Hacienda, and others are listed as “within Dallas Area.” Type Christian rehab in Dallas, TX into a search and this should bring up some options for your consideration. Shiloh is listed in Dallas. Also, some depend if you are male or female as to where the closest location is to you.
