Question by Stormygirl21302: Does anyone know of any job opportunites for people with felony convictions on their records?
My friend has 2 felony drug possessions on her record. They were back in 2004 & 2006. She has served time and willingly entered into a drug rehab program. Her and her son are trying to make a fresh start and she desperately needs a job. So does anyone have any suggestions? She is willing to work any shift. Please help.

Your friend could try to get into the food service. Have to put down the convictions, but then also say that she entered into a treatment program. Good luck to your friend

She can be PC’d (protected custody) for a certain amount of time, but she would have to commit (section 12) herself. The only way to commit another adult is to go through the time consuming process of proving their incompetance and that they are a danger to themselves and the community through the court of law.
Best Drug Rehab Center in Illinois?
Question by Nate Smith: Best drug rehab center in Illinois?
My friend’s mom is badly addicted to painkillers such as narcotics, Vicodin, etc and she wants to get help BADLY! She was in a bad accident years ago, and that’s how she got addicted. She has it bad enough where she’s buying pills from other people at $ 5 a pill.
I was wondering if anyone knows where to get a list of rehab centers in Illinois around the Chicago area? She’s looking for a place that is cheap enough since she has no insurance, but which also gives something else to the patients to help with the addiction, instead of just cutting them off completely. Help would be greatly appreciated
Could I Have Mastocytosis or MCAS?
Question by Rusty: Could I have Mastocytosis or MCAS?
I have struggled with gastrointestinal problems for years: diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, weight loss, painful radiating abdominal cramps. I saw a pediatric gastroenterologist when I was an adolescent (I am now 22) and was checked for Crohn’s disease, ulcers, bacterial infections, etc. I am hypersensitive to foods (dairy, greasy or oily foods, high fat content foods) and sometimes get sick after heat and high activity exposure. Usually when I eat these foods, I get stomach pain that develops into diarrhea or nausea very quickly, sometimes before I am even done with the meal. I also was diagnosed with acid reflux disease and have unexplained bone pain and dizzy spells sporadically. When I was younger I used to get LARGE, red, itchy hives across my stomach area for unexplained reasons, but have not seen any in years. I was wondering if anyone has been diagnosed with systemic mastocytosis (particularly that affecting the GI) and would like to know how and if I should get tested for this disease?
How to Get a Job Again as an RN Following Battle With Drug Addiction?

I’m really confused about what my options are for work and how to get back to doing what I love so much. Is one allowed to work as an RN while on methadone? I have never diverted or anything like that. Has anyone else got any experience with this issue?
