other than kids help line

Best answer:

Answer by Ed
Gosh, there are hundreds of different support groups.
WHO SEEKS the help for themselves (the abuser, a son/daughter, a parent, or a friend, an adult son/daughter still living with bad memories and ways of thinking from growing up with a drug abuser in the same family, or ?)?
Is THE DRUG ABUSER a kid, an adult, a father/mother, a physician, nurse, or ?
Do you know WHAT TYPE OF DRUG is the person abusing? Marijuana, Cocaine, Pills, or ?
Such info would be key to checking on the availability of a local support group helpline.

Do You Think DUI Repeated Offenders Should Got to a Rehab Facility Instead of Taking AA Classes?

Question by daff73: Do you think DUI repeated offenders should got to a rehab facility instead of taking AA classes?
I think someone who gets more than 1 DUI definitely has a problem. If so, I think to be sentenced to a rehab clinic would be far more suitable then to do community service, or just a few days in the county jails. They need to get rid of the source of the problem. Drinking. Do you agree?

In Some Big Trouble…?

Question by Jack Landry: in some big trouble…?
I am 18 years old, and go to UNH. Over the weekend, I was arrested for unlawful intoxication. I was stumbling out of a convenience store, and was stopped by UNH police, who could blatantly see that I was intoxicated, and was arrested on just that one charge. I will be going to court January 13th, 2010, and am planning on taking advantage of the free legal services offered by UNH, which I am hoping will create some sort of plea deal that will get this charge dropped.
