How to Overcome My Addiction to Online Porn?
Question by : How to overcome my addiction to online porn?
I know of rehabs where a person can go to detox from drugs and alcohol abuse/adddiction. Where can I go to get help with my onlne porn addiction? It’s ruining me! I should study for a college exam and hold down a job but I quit my job to look at porn (my mom pays my way and lets me live in her attic) and now I want to go to porn sites and look at barely legal girls instead of doing anything else. How do I get help?!?!?! Also, will my mom’s insurance pay for me to get better?

Suboxtin or Suboxone (buprenorphine and naloxone) is used to treat opiate addiction… basically the drug itself is an opioid… Buprenorphine is the opioid and Naloxone blocks the effects of other opioids. The reason they use it even though it’s an opioid (it’s addictive) they believe it’s easier to quit than heroin, morphine, codeine etc. It doesn’t give you the same pleasant symptoms that people crave from those kinds of drugs, so they believe that’s why it’s easier to stop taking. So they switch you from whatever drug, onto this drug… then eventually get you off that drug. Because most people find it too intense to try and quit things like heroin cold turkey

Question: What is wrong with being addicted to something? Everyone is addicted to something right now, but people seem to have this great fear and abhorrence for drug addiction without really explaining or knowing why it seems.
Definition: addiction is a state in which the body relies on a substance for normal functioning and develops physical dependence. When this substance is suddenly removed, it will cause withdrawal, a characteristic set of signs and symptoms
I Think I Developed a Cocaine Addiction. Help!?
Question by Bonny: I think I developed a cocaine addiction. Help!?
I’m 30 years old, married and my husband and I started using cocaine a couple years ago. At that time, we tried it with then acquantiances but, after a couple times, we stopped and didn’t have the desire to continue. Within the last two months, however, we have used cocaine several times a week and i’m scared that we have become addicted to it. Every time we make a pact to not do it anymore, when the weekend comes, someone will hint to it and the other will support us getting more. I’m really scared. I don’t want to ruin my life and I see that it’s not as easy as we thought to stop “cold turkey” because we rationalize the weekend use as just “having a good time on the weekend.”
