I have to write an essay on how online chat rooms effect the teens of these days.What are some negative affects aside from pedophiles on today’s teens by using online chat rooms/dating services?

Huge time waster! Plus many teens today find it difficult to actually communicate on a normal level in person because they are so used to using chatrooms/texting/ims as a crutch.
