Might Need to Move Out on My Own?
Question by nick: Might need to move out on my own?
I live in Washington where weed was just legalized for anyone over 21 and medically anyone over the age of 18. I live in a house with a recovering addict and alcoholic, I started smoking weed my freshmen year until I was caught bu my parents(together at the time) I stopped until about my junior year started smoking a lot more. I got caught again. Stopped until summer of my junior year. So now we are here me senior year. I smoke weed everyday at least and my parents caught me a total of 4 times this year and we get into huge fights over it. Mainly my mom because I live with her. Dad moved out because he beat my mom when he was drunk(also alcoholic and use to do coke and other drugs with my mom). Then my mom fell off the wagon 6 times and been to rehab twice during my high school career. My older brother is in rehab for heroin for the 4th time thins time for a full year of treatment. My friends and I are big potheads but are completely against pill heads or anyone around drugs other than weed and booze sometimes. I would never become a person to use hard drugs like coke and many other my older brother and parents used. I got caught smoking the other day and it did not really phase me I still smoke and plan on it. But I really like having a good healthy relationship with my mom. I will not get anything from my parents to help me for college if I keep smoking weed because they think I will become a heavy drug user. I love my parents but smoking and smokers are my only friends it is something i enjoy doing no matter what anybody says. I have a place to live at anytime if I don’t want to live with my mom. But I don’t want to have to go that far because I love my mom a lot and don’t want to hurt her by leaving. I am on track to graduate was never an option for me not to. What do I do?

Try listening to your parents for once. They know that they have ruined their lives by having drugs. Why not give a try to become drug free and see if you can get rid of insomnia and other stress giving problems
