My son is 19 years old and is a full time student, We live in Chicago, IL Is there anyway I can send him to a drug treatment place in FLORIDA OR CALIFORNIA? using my insurance, it is blue cross blue shield PPO and since he is a full time student he us covered. I would just like to know if this is possible or if you know of any good sober living/rehab facilities in these places. Also he is 100% willing and wants the help, please don’t askt why cali or FL just try and help me if u can. thanks

I think it would be best to call BCBS and ask them they will tell you because most rehab coverage is for a certain amount of time. The out of state part only they are going to be able to give you the correct answer. I wish you the best of luck with your son and him the best in his recovery.
