Question by Lil Bit: Do hospitals test newborn babies for drugs right after birth in Illinois? Is it a law?
I was wondering this because i have heard many conflicting stories. So if any one can find some answers it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Pretty sure that’s a law in all the 50 states. And should be too.
I believe the testing is done on the placenta rather than the baby.
