i have recently been placed on probation in kane county illinois and i may need to submit to a drug test in a couple of days. I have been taking suboxone, but i don’t have a prescription. i heard that suboxone does not come up on a drug test, but it can if they are testing for it. I just want to be on the safe side. So, if anyone knows what drugs kane county test for please let me know. Thank You.

When a drug test is done, they dont test for the drug itself. Every drug causes a different chemical reaction in the human body and this chemical reaction is what they test for. Different drug=different chemical reaction, this is how they determine which drug you took. But ANY drug causes a reaction and therefore, shows up on a test, even cold medicine or aspirin.
